CEO Express Check-Up™
Privacy Policy
Effective Date: September 11, 2026 · Last Updated: September 11, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Evolve & Grow Studio LLC ("Evolve & Grow," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects information when you use the public CEO Express Check-Up™ (the "Check-Up").
The Check-Up is intended only for business leaders who are at least 18 years old and are located in the United States. This Policy applies only to the public Check-Up. It does not govern private advisory instruments or services provided under a separate engagement agreement.
1 · Information we collect
- Contact information. Your full name and email address and, if you choose to provide them, your company name and title.
- Check-Up responses. Your answers to the scored questions and any information you enter in the two open-text fields.
- Communication choices. Whether you choose to receive contact about an optional debrief conversation and records of later communication preferences or unsubscribe requests.
- Technical and usage information. Limited information generated when you access or use the Check-Up, such as IP address, browser and device information, timestamps, request and error logs, and security events.
- Email delivery information. Information supplied by our transactional email provider, such as delivery, bounce, and similar technical events. If email-open or link-click measurement is enabled, those events may also be collected.
We collect information directly from you, automatically from the browser and infrastructure used to operate the Check-Up, and from service providers acting on our behalf.
Please do not submit trade secrets, material nonpublic information, passwords, financial-account information, health information, or confidential personal information about employees, customers, family members, or other third parties.
2 · How we use information
- generate and display your Check-Up results;
- email your results to the address you provide;
- generate or refine narrative commentary associated with your results;
- contact you about an optional debrief conversation only if you separately request or consent to that contact;
- respond to questions, privacy requests, or other communications;
- operate, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Check-Up;
- create aggregated or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify you; and
- comply with law and establish, exercise, or defend legal rights.
Receiving your Check-Up results does not require consent to marketing or debrief communications. If you separately subscribe to a newsletter or other marketing communications, you may unsubscribe at any time using the method provided in those communications.
3 · Scoring and artificial intelligence
Your numerical and categorical results are produced using predefined scoring rules. Artificial intelligence does not determine the underlying scores.
We may use an artificial-intelligence service provider to help generate or refine narrative commentary based on your Check-Up responses and scores. Information needed for that purpose may be transmitted to and processed by the provider on our behalf. We require appropriate contractual and technical controls before using any provider for this purpose.
The Check-Up does not make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects. It is a reflection and discussion tool, not a clinical or psychological assessment, professional diagnosis, therapy, employment assessment, or prediction or guarantee of individual or business performance.
4 · How we disclose information
We may disclose information to service providers that help us operate the Check-Up, including providers of:
- website and application hosting and infrastructure;
- databases, storage, backups, and security;
- transactional email and delivery services;
- artificial-intelligence text generation;
- technical monitoring, troubleshooting, and fraud prevention; and
- customer-relationship or communication systems, if used for a debrief you requested.
These providers may process information only as necessary to provide services to us, subject to applicable contractual and legal restrictions.
We may also disclose information when required by law or valid legal process; when reasonably necessary to protect the rights, safety, security, or property of Evolve & Grow, users, or others; or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of our business, subject to applicable law.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or permit the Check-Up to be used for targeted advertising.
5 · Cookies and online tracking
The Check-Up does not use advertising cookies or cross-site behavioral advertising technologies. We may use technologies that are strictly necessary to operate, secure, and maintain the Check-Up.
We do not knowingly permit third parties to collect personally identifiable information through the Check-Up about your online activities over time and across unrelated websites for advertising purposes. Because the Check-Up is not used for cross-site behavioral advertising, browser Do Not Track signals generally do not change how it operates.
The Check-Up may link to services operated by third parties, such as an external scheduling service. Information you provide directly to those services is governed by their own privacy policies.
6 · Retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, subject to the following intended limits:
- Check-Up contact information, responses, generated results, and narrative commentary: up to 12 months after submission;
- routine technical, request, error, and security logs: up to 90 days, unless a longer period is needed to investigate an incident;
- debrief communication records: until the request is completed, you opt out, or continued retention is no longer reasonably necessary; and
- consent, Terms acceptance, and privacy-request records: for the period reasonably necessary to demonstrate compliance and resolve disputes, generally no longer than four years after the relevant interaction.
Information in routine backups may remain until the applicable backup is deleted or overwritten under our backup-retention schedule. We may retain information longer when required by law or reasonably necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. We may retain aggregated or de-identified information that can no longer reasonably identify you.
7 · Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encrypted network connections, access restrictions, and service-provider controls appropriate to the nature of the information. No online service or electronic storage method can guarantee absolute security. We will provide notices of qualifying security incidents as required by applicable law.
8 · Your choices and privacy requests
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we maintain about you. You may also withdraw your request to receive debrief or marketing communications. Contact us at erik@evolvegrow.org and provide enough information for us to identify the relevant record. We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity before completing a request.
Depending on where you live and which laws apply to Evolve & Grow, you may have additional privacy rights. We will honor verified requests as required by applicable law and will not discriminate against you for exercising legally protected privacy rights.
9 · Children
The Check-Up is designed for business use by adults and is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the Check-Up.
10 · United States only
The Check-Up is intended solely for individuals located in the United States. It is not offered to individuals outside the United States. If you are outside the United States, do not submit information through the Check-Up.
11 · Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy periodically. We will post the revised version and update the Last Updated date. If a change materially affects how we use information previously collected, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent when required by applicable law.
